I know this has been mentioned in a few threads but the titles were weren't obvious. In case anyone missed this hot deal check it out. I already got mine (black) and it is smokin. Seriously, if you're on the fence about a semi, there really ain't gonna be a better time to get one that's really admirably well done for such short money. Hell they're even shipped free.

FWIW, somebody in a recent thread posted they'd just received one that had a defective pickup selector switch. I was worried that this blowout might be all defective returns or something...But I can happily report the one I just received in not only cosmetically perfect but all electronics are tight and right, action and intonation are very good, very playable and even the strings are fresh and toneful (feel kinda light like 9s or 10s).

Well, this is my second one if that tells you anything, and I thought the first one was an outrageous bargain at $149.99. Really nicely dressed fret ends and smooth solid tuners -feels like a much more expensive guitar in the hand. I even like the pickups.

My friend has one that is his main guitar. I swapped out the pickups and installed a Bigsby on it for the cost of parts (around 150 bucks) One thing I'll mention: The wood that makes up the neck joint is kinda soft and the bolts that go there are prone to strip out the wood easily. It's an easy fix with some hardwood tootpics and crazy glue in there. Other than that a decent cheap chinese guitar.

GC no havey have -- they don't carry Washburn

Oh crap - I'm going to have to buy this on faith then. I just bought an Epi Riviera. The darn thing is costing as much to mod as it was to buy.

I'm assuming Washburn used a poly finish on this axe. How are the necks on the OE 30 compare to the Epi necks of the current casino or Sheraton?
