Members sa1126
I never hear much about the firebird, and that is one of the coolest looking guitars ever imo
Members fanuvbrak
The Gibson Firebird V is my ultimate wish-list guitar. I have played several and each one was superb. But I would have to sell everything to get one, so it will remain a wish.
Members angus_old
they made a lot of SG variations in the 80s-90s that've sunk into obscurityhttp://www.everythingsg.com/discontinued_models.htm

I have been playing a few here and there and all were made really nice.

Members Roy Brooks
I sure do like my 1956 ES-175D. Though the one Gibson guitar that I am surprised that there isn't more love for is the L-5S.

Members trinilopez
most of the less popular gibsons were issued in the 70s after ted mccartey left - this is when norlin owned gibson. this includes the s-1, marauder, rd, corvus, sonex 180, l5s and challenger.the challengermyself, i've always wanted an l6s

Members rocker4203
Does anyone remember Gibsons' "The Paul"? It was an all natural wood guitar that came out around the same time as the Sonex 180. I think it was made of mahogany but I'm not sure.

There was also "The SG", and probably a few others as well. I love walnut, especially working it, but they seem to be hit-or-miss when it comes to electric guitars. Some are great, some are crap - it's just really variable.
