Nice guitar. Brings back some memories from my youth when I used to have one.

Short in the front, long in the back. Looks like a mullet to me. I apologize if there is some subtlety I'm missing that offends your sense of hairdressing expertise. Bangs do not equal a mullet.

I imagine if you'd been thrown out of a band that then went on to be one of the most sucessful bands in history, you might have some issues:cop: This is probably not helped by the fact your replacement isn't as good, and, despite forming a really sucessful new band, every time you step up a gear your former band does so too, but in a way that completely eclipses your acheivments:idea: And they used some of your songs without your consent.

All this talk makes me want to do a good inventory of my stuff and lock the list up someplace. However, if someone breaks into my house, he'll have to deal with the 85-pound Otis: Yeah, and if Otis is anything like a typical Boxer all a thief will have to do it pet him and play with him and he will become the thief's best friend in a matter of seconds. At least that's all someone would have to do with my Boxer, Clyde.

I tried the humbucker sized P90s. It would be hard to describe in words just how bad they were. Maybe I got a bad set but they were the muddiest most life-less pickups I have ever tried.

If directed to me, mine's in an Agile 3000M. You shoulda popped out the pickups and see which one's you had . I do know that not all of their pups are high output. They are real gems though. I have to say, since I can't find Ultrasonic pups, these will do. It's awesome to see that you were happy with the sound of your pups while being split. I'm curious about one of their pups that's supposed to produce a nice "acousticy" tone when split (I think the Melvin). Actually I was asking stormin but thats ok. I have pulled the pickups but they only have numbers, no name of any kind. They are fantastic split, I play in a country band, and while a good Tele is better, theses pickups really can twang in split mode.

What guitar were the pickups in? I have had 3 guitars with APC pickups. I'm not sure what models they are but they are not all that hot, much more of a PAFish kinda of output. I had a Gibson SG and the stock pickups were a little hotter than the APCs. However, when it comes to tone the APCs are about the best humbucking pickups I've used. They also sound great when they are split.
