Members SexWithRobots Posted May 15, 2011 Members Share Posted May 15, 2011 I have been searching for an audio interface for a bit now and read lots of good things about the focusrite saffire 6 and found out they have a new USB 2.0 interface coming out. Looks like it might be pretty cool and for around $250.00 not a bad price either. Phil O'Keefe Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 I have not heard it yet, and of course, I have no idea how the drivers will work or if it will be buggy or not, but assuming everything's good, that looks like a good deal. Six by six I/O for $250? With MIDI I/O? Of course it's really a 4X4 analog, 2X2 digital I/O, so take that into consideration - using the extra 2 channels of I/O will require a mic pre with S/PDIF digital out, or an external A/D-D/A converter.
