Members Eagle117
I decided to test out the GarageBand app on my iPad 2 today. The chain I used was just my Rory Gallagher Stratocaster straight into the iPad via a Peavy AmpKit Link. The bass line and drums were added from within the app (touch instrument/loop), and all effects, amps, etc where also from the app. I used Instagram and 8mm on my i4 for the pics/vids, and I put it all together with iMovie. This was not intended to be a song or to show off my music/video skills. I just wanted to see how hard/easy it is to make music with the GarageBand app. All in all, I'd say it's a great tool for the average musician like myself. I can see it replacing the average MacBook Pro setup simply from the ease of use point of view... not to mention that you can take it anywhere and not worry about being tethered to a power outlet.
