Phil O'Keefe
Seriously - 50% more information? I'd say that's more than worthy of a second edition.
Members 144dB
Not to detract from Bob's book (I own it as well), but if you are looking for related material you should check out The Mastering Engineer's Handbook by Bobby Owsinski. Bob Katz is one of the contributors who is interviewed, and you'll get the perspective of several other mastering engineers as well. I recently picked it up and I'm almost finished reading it. It's a great book. Todd
Phil O'Keefe
I have a couple of Bobby's books too (but not The Mastering Engineer's Handbook), and I like his writing style. The man seems to know what he's talking about too.
Members 144dB
Yeah, Bobby's books are awesome. I must have read The Mixing Engineer's Handbook about five times, and I'm sure I'll read it five times more. Each time I learn something new. The format just works really well for audio and production (i.e. combining industry interviews with Bobby's own material).
