Members johngalt
Bought one a few weeks ago. I just realized that there seems to be something inside it. By that I mean, when I shake it, it sounds like something shifts inside it's hollowbody. Maybe wires, I don't know. Any ideas of what this could be and should I be alarmed? Members Treborklow
It might be a piece of debris from manufacturing or a hunk of solder that came loose. I'd shake it around to see if I could get it to fall out and then see what to do.

Then don't shake it. Ba dump bump. Seriously, if there are no other problems why worry about it?
Members 's mel gibson
Get a flashlight and a little mirror and have a look inside. A little mirror like a dentist's or even a small piect of mirror (hope you're not superstitious) glued onto the end of a chopstick or something. Gretsch's are made in Japan aren't they? It probably is wiring but, as long as it doesn't buzz or rattle through the amp, why get too alarmed? I hope it's not a dead mouse or something like that. Good luck! Members Blackbelt1
Over on the Gretschpages.com, one of the forumites (Proteus) took his Tenny apart and posted pics. You might try to find that thread and view the pics to help determine what's inside your guitar. ~Blackbelt
