According to Faraday: curl E = - dB/dt According to Ampere and Maxwell: curl B = (1/c^2) dE/dt According to Maxwell: div B = 0

 

--> curl dE/dt = - d^2B/dt^2

 

--> curl (curl B) = -(1/c^2)d^2B/dt^2

 

--> grad^2 B = (1/c^2) d^2B/dt^2

 

--> B(x,t) = B(x +or- ct)

 

c = 299,792,458 m/s
