Members Brazilian04
In my Strat I have: JBjr--bridge Quarter Pounder---middle Lil 59----neck 5way switch, I vol, 2 tone. Now, is there a way to wire this thing to get the humcaneling sounds of the bridge and middle in position 4? Right now I have a push/pull switch to plit the coils for the bridge and neck but I'm not getting the humcanceling sounds in pos. 2 or 4. The middle pup is designated a middle Strat pup, so it should have the reverse whatever that most strats use to get the humcanceling sound. any help would be nice, and I'll make it worth your while, with a hearty THANK YOU. Members D Charles
You've got humbucks in bridge and neck. You can't hum cancel between humbucks and single coils. I'd just put a classic strat stack (or similar) in the middle.

Members doug osborne
If you can use one coil of the humbucker (four wires coming out of it?), and it is appropriately wound, you can wire it to cancel hum with the SC. Seymour Duncan has many wiring diagrams on his site. Guitar Nuts is also a great resource.
Members amplayer
Ditto what doug osbourne said.I happen to know that the lil' 59 and the Jb Jr. do have 4 wires, and absolutely can be split. I have a guitar with the exact same pickups in my strat.A simple way to do it is to get a switch known as a 2-way or 4-way super switch. With a super switch, you can just wire up only the correct terminals of the humbuckers and middle single coil for positions 2 and 4. If you are good with a soldering iron, it's very simple.I used a 4-way super switch to get all three pickups on in position 4. It sounds pretty neat.
