Members chiro972
So I just went through the whole process from the guitar nuts website for shielding my protone strat. This thing was really bad. You know the ones. Set the amp for gain and let the hum begin, It was so bad that even with my hands on the strings it had a major hum and if you took your hands off the guitar, it was unbearable. So I do the whole process and nervously plug the guitar in and turn the amp on to a high gain setting and.......nothing. Crap! did I do something wrong? Well let me strum this thing just in case....WOW it was right there, I just thought it was wired wrong because I expected just a little noise when plugged in and not touching the strings, but it is dead silent. Just finished doing my tele too. Great results, but not as spectacular as the strat. If you have a strat and don't want noiseless pups but would like less hum. then you have to try this.
