Really ridiculous time changes, growling vocals, some extremely fast and heavy parts, but there's almost always a really shimmering, well-orchestrated section with clean vocals and a ton of melody. Metal from the 80's now sounds like Lite FM fodder to the youth of today. I dont like this kind of music, but I certainly understand what the youth find appealing about it.
