Tonight we had kebabs - chunks of pork marinaded in olive oil lemon juice and a spice mixture Mrs Blackpig's aunt brought back from Morocco I put the meat on wooden skewers with chunks of yellow pepper mushrooms onion and courgette then cooked them under the grill

I put the pork in its marinade in the fridge this morning before driving to Dublin to visit Ould Blackpig - so it soaked for about 8 hours

I don't actually know whats in the Moroccan spice - there's definitely turmeric chili cardamom and God knows what else
