Members CosmicArp
thought that would be the case,i'm still interested in them though, to me they have a kind of utopian rainforest kind of vibe,I emailed stick industries however, twice and have never heard back
Members glockdoc
Warr guitar is another option to Chapman stick. Trey Gunn does amazing things with his. http://www.warrguitars.com/WarrRSS/treygunnsig.html
Members Roy
A friend loaned me his for a few months. I play guitar. I play bass. This thing is a whole 'nother animal. It's like learning a new instrument. A really cool instrument.
Members CosmicArp
i've just strung my 6 string bass E A D G B E, and i am starting to try and play that more like a stick. I got this awesomely high E string for my bass which is like a huge G-string for a guitar (just a thin piece of wire, not a coil). Never seen a bass string like that before. are the Sticks really that much nicer to tap than a bass or guitar?

Members dparr
are the Sticks really that much nicer to tap than a bass or guitar? Yes, The Stick is the best instrument for two handed tapping!I've played several different tapping instruments (Warr, Megatar, Austin Douglas...) and none even come close to the Stick. I've played the NS Stick a few times and it's a great instrument. Not for me though, I'm a 12 string Stick player so NS felt a bit odd to me. Stick Enterprises is a bit behind on NS orders (trouble getting parts). Lots of bass players go for the NS Stick.
