Members rockfan
A very articulate player in a progressive band everyone should listen to. Steve, who plays a Squire Strat with EMG pups and Kahler tremelo, was asked why a Squire:He stated at the end of the day, a guitar is just a piece of wood. You are either going to get a good wood or bad wood (no pun intended). What you have on the headstock makes no difference since you're going to change the pups and electronics anyway (good point). Members axegrinder
You know I saw that and was going to post it the next time somebody bumped the Squier Army thread. Those guys blew me away back in the day...holds up pretty damn well too. Rothery's Squier makes an appearance in this first video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csPEHUzGAwo&mode=related&search= This one has a Squier double neck!?!? ok maybe not. Still a huge guitar solo by MTV-style video standards. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7sIzWKHGwQ

Members curseoftruth
I had a spell in the 80s where I was into them, long before Keiry a Got Laid song (I know, that's a joke). Listening to them know, it doesn't hold up to me. I have a couple of things on vinyl.
Members Wide
Steve Rothery is mostly playing Blade Stratocasters and a Blade telecaster, and has put Lindy Fralin pickups in almost all his guitars. There is an interview at musicplayers.com that goes over a lot of his gear.
