Members jjpistols
so I'm tempted for some reason to try an active EMG in my V, since: a) it has a battery box installed already cuz prev owner had EMGs b) I tried the EMG H4 (passive) in it and was quite impressed I've owned active basses before, but not guitars what will it do different? which models do you prefer, and why? anyone tried the EMG-H? got any clips of your active pups in action? Members Dewysoss
Get an 60 in the bridge, and either an 89 (Like an 85 AND a SA in one, if you want the option of a single coil) or a 58 (With a little hum and a fat bluesy tone) in the neck. Trust me. DO IT.

Members SrDeMaFp
I personally prefer the 81-85 set but, the 81-60 set is great as well. I'm gonna try the 81-85 set in 18v tomorrow. I'll let you know how I like it.
