Members Cranky_San
i'm about to buy an f-spaced dimarzio super distortion for my bridge (correct spacing). the seller also has a normal spaced dimarzio paf pro which i am looking to pair with it in the neck, but its not f-spaced. i searched at dimarzio's pickup FAQ and it says "Most tremolo equipped guitars that have a nut width of 1-11/
Members Rich4Once
As long as the strings are near the polepieces, you'll probably be okay. Take the pickup, and if it doesn't work for you, Ebay it and get a Bill Lawrence pickup with the blades. Polepieces? We don't need to stinking polepieces! Members Frankenstrat
I think a regular spaced humbucker at the neck should work fine. I mean Gibson has large nut widths and they use regular spaced humbuckers at the neck without any polepice lineup problems. It's at the bridge where most polepice problems occur.
