Members Mogrrr
Im considering getting money together and getting a 97 chet atkins tennessean that a store has had for ages.. the guitars I have now are a 70s strat, a 97 lp std and a 01 sg classic with P-90s. I kinda miss the dearmond starfire special I sold a few months ago.. If I get this guitar Ill have it set up in D or C and use it in this little stoner project me and a friend are starting. will this guitar work in C tuning? anyone had one of these? its a damn cool looking guitar anyway if you ask me.the one the store has is wine red which I think is really nice.. Members lowbrow
I've never had the pleasure to play one, but I spoke at length with a guy in a band who used a orange one as his main axe. He told me it needed to be set up at least twice a year because the neck moved around so much with climate changes. He was considering selling it and replacing it with something or other because he said it was such a pain in the ass. Aside from that issue he loved it. Ancedotal evidence...maybe he just got unlucky?
