Members Nijyo
So, I'm listening to mah satellite radio in my car on the way home, and I hear a song I've heard many times before ("Beautiful People - Nina Sky"). In the middle-endish part of the mix I'm listening to, they use the line "Easy, Breezy, Beautiful Cover Girls" a buncha times. Do you think they had to go to Covergirl (or whoever owns that brand) and get licensing specifically for that line? The licensing terms must have been pretty amenable to both sides, I guess, for it to be deemed worth paying money to have the line in that song. Thoughts? Moderators daddymack Posted August 31, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 31, 2009 I doubt there was an issue, as the term 'cover girl' was in use long before the makeup co-opted the name.

Well, except that "Easy, Breezy Beautiful Cover Girl" is an exact quote of a marketing slogan used for quite a while by said company. Thus my pondering.
