Members cincy_cosmo
I am selling out my store this week. I had a Ravelle with sustainer come back because the customer believed the Sustainer was on all the time and could not be switched off. After receiving it back I tried it out and it has tons of natural sustain without the Sustainer circuit on, but it is nothing more than tons of sustain. My own Ravelle Deluxe (non-sustainer model) exhibits the same trait. It's something I always considered good about set neck Fernandes models. I had a Dragonfly once that would probably set the world's record for sustain without artificial help. I also had a Parker Fly classic once that did the same, maybe even more. Can a guitar have too much sustain for some peoples taste?

Members No Soul
too much sustain? I think its easier to choke off sustain with your technique than it is to create it..

Feel free to just suck and you'll kill that sustain - I should know, sustain is alien because I suck.
