Members zoinghun
i'm looking at this and i want to put on strat neck on it eventually. from all the searches, i've concluded that strat neck on tele will work without modification. (ignoring gap) aged maple neck is kosher, so i don't think i'll want to replace the neck for a while anyway. but i was worrying about out other upgradability for it and wanted to know if all the parts are interchangeable with regular tele stuff. bridge, pickguard, pups, etc. on the website, it says "mini single coil pickup". what are mini single coil pickups? will i need to change pickguard and/or rout anything to put in regular tele pup set? also what about changing out pickguard and bridges and the rest of the stuff? anything i should know about? thanks

Members mnhhngbfs
Well, a tele neck pickup is slightly smaller than a strat pickup. that could explain the whole "mini" thing.
Members zoinghun
cool. so i should be able to expect everything else to be after market upgradeable right? (i'm expecting making some new screw holes on the body in the worst case.)
Members dcindc
It is my understanding that the SX tele bridge is not easilly replaced without some of the pup route showing. But that bridge is not horrible either. You might want to replace the tuners and the pups, but you might not, also. I'd leave the rest alone. The big gains on those is a good nut and better pots.
