NGD: Gibson Les Paul Standard Faded 50's Neck

Bought this off a Gear Pager(great to deal with Lution btw).

He was the original owner and picked a winner with this one. It sounds huge even unplugged. I've got a Wolfetone Fenris bridge bucker to drop in it and it's gtg. Great top on it too(some of these look like ass) :thu:

You guys need to be puttin some o them nice aged nickel bits from cvguitars on those:thu:


 

 

I've got a Tone Pros locking set in nickel to replace the ABR-1 on this. I'm considering locking tuners but may just keep the rest of it stock. I really do like that 50's neck. It's not much bigger than the C 60's Standard profile on my Suhr. I have big hands and I noticed over the years that I have less muscle strain in my hands with a bigger neck.

Great score. A real beauty. I've been jonesing for one of those since I played one of the new Vintage Mahogany models. The burstbuckers are the shxx. And I much prefer the 50s neck. I bet they sound even better uncovered with that maple cap to boot. Congrats!!!
