Members DenverDave Posted March 5, 2008 Members Share Posted March 5, 2008 I remember about two years ago at Guitar Center I picked up a '52 RI Tele and plugged it into a Bassman and jammed away fro about 20 minutes. I was in tone nirvana! That combo just works together so well. If the Bassman amp was not so dang heavy I'd probably own one now as my gigging amp... I love that guys slide playing too.... I friend of mine is a hugely natural talent...really never sounds bad. We used to use the same amp repair guy and one day when I was comparing my tone to my buddies' the repair guy made the comment "don't feel so bad...Travis could put a speaker in a rats ass and still sound like Hendrix..."
