Epiphone pics - why is the headstock so often cut off?

I agree, if Gibson modded that headstock to summat like the shape Tokai Uk uses, people would fly away from the MIJs overnight and they'd double their sales of MIC LPs.

It's as attractive as a pigs arse after a shit

C'mon Gibson, gis a nice Epi

Could anything ever be as Japanese as something called 'Love Rock'?

And just to stay OT, I owned a pretty decent little Epi LP about 12 years ago and the only picture I have of it was cropped and put in a collage....guess what got cropped? And it wasn't me doing it, it was some female photographer.

Even she knew what the deal was.

Sometimes you just want to get a good close up of that beautiful body and the headstock and part of the neck just don't fit in the shot.

It even happens to Gibsons,

And Rickenbackers,

Even Gretsches,

It's not an Epi thing, it's a photography thing.

Or the picture taken from the lower bout, leaving the headstock out of sight?

Nothing to be shy about, especially if you
:rawk:

I once owned an Epi and it was a fine guitar with a beautiful name on the peghead.
:thu:

They cut off the head in the picture so the guitar can balance better when playing with strap.
