Members RoboCop00
ok, get all the laughs out at the title. Anyways, I'm looking to buy a replacement 1.68in nut for my Epiphone Casino (it has some tuning issues, even with replacement locking tuners), and can't seem to find a good website that has a variety of replacement nuts. Any suggestions?

Members ashasha
Stewmac is where I usually get my nuts from, but I am not sure about the size selection you are looking for. I've personally just bought one that was bigger and shaped it myself and it turned out pretty good in all cases. A hell of a lot more work though. Members Kid Klash
Tuning problems are so often traced to a "sticky" nut. The cheap plastic ones not only keep the strings from sliding back and forth (which you need to keep the strings in tune), but they suck the tone out of the strings too. I'd just do a search on MF for guitar nuts... Graphtech have their black graphite nuts (excellent on Fenders and other guitars with trems), and their "TusQ" synthetic bone nuts. They have pre-sloted as well as no slot and blanks is various sizes. Check out their website too, to see what they have.
