Members separanets
I was offered a Yamaha se 812, year 1990, 200 euro, w/ hard case. But I never found anything on the internet. The seller sais it is very cheap. The only thing I found is that this guitar is made in Taiwan. What do you think if that is a good bargain to get it for 200 euro? Is that made in Taiwan or in Japan? Members Jkater
My gut feeling is that it's made in Taiwan but the number 812 is typical of higher quality models in the mid range stuff (like in the 500-800 euros range). The hardware is probably pretty good. Yamaha's build quality is always good. 200 euros for this guitar is certainly an interesting deal. Japanese made Yamahas are very expensive (and very fine guitars) and they don't build a ton of MIJ models.
Members Burningleaves
Not sure about the price but FWIW...Yamaha has been building quality guitars in Taiwan for decades.
