Members mikeSF
i tried murphy's before and it was ok, but then i read about fish oil and started using that...eventually switched to ground chuck drippings for a beefier sound... ...but then... [wait for it] ...the first time i BACONED my fretboard, i was in heaven...AND i got to fry up all the bacon afterward and eat it...what's not to like really? Members Pope on a Rope
eh, ya get used to it really. Why would you want to get used to something that makes bacon taste funny? Why would you even do anything to make bacon taste funny in the first place? What are you? Canadian?
Members ihavenofish
i have a bottle of murphys oil soap and it specifically says "not for unfinished wood" i know from experience that this is true, it will raise the grain because its actually mostly water. on ebony it may work better, but ive tried it on (raw) maple, birch, mahognay and rosewood and its a bad idea. lemon oil will be a much better choice.
