Kind of want a "pure" strat, keep it American and factory, and take the hot-rod red epi which sounds like crap (but plays well and looks nice) and put these new pickups in. What do you think? Members Deeprig9 Posted June 14, 2008 Author Members Share Posted June 14, 2008 I was still on the fence about them at retail $320, but found some on Ebay and 205 took them, if I don't like them I'm pretty confident I could get $200 back out of them. But there's no way they'll sound worse than what's already in there. I'm especially excited, this is the first time I've ever won a bid on Ebay. That's probably the real meat of this post.
