Members voneville
Did these clips direct using a digitech pedal to the laptop, not too bad`sounding considering the lowbuck nature of the beast... You can only do so much out at sea... http://www.dereksikesphotography.com/creepyman.mp3 http://www.dereksikesphotography.com/deathrocksong.mp3 this ones pretty much a standard a la Mr John Lee Hooker http://www.dereksikesphotography.com/bluesjam.mp3 this one is sort of 60's hot rod'ish http://www.dereksikesphotography.com/gasserwars.mp3 more to come later

Members 32-20-Blues
Badass playing. The 60's hot rod tune and the cramps/link wray number are my favourites. It's exactly the type of music that I'm interested in. What guitar are you using? Nice job.
Members Snambo
Sounds really good. Those tunes have a lot of "stink" to them...and I mean that in a good way! So what kind of recording software were you using?
Members voneville
Thank's for the comments. I used a Vantage (late 70's MIJ guitar, similar to Ibanez but lower quality). A pretty versatille guitar overall, it has coil tap humbuckers so it covers a lot of ground. The software is Mixcraft, which is more or less a fancy version of audiocity. Members Fuelish
Sounds good to me, sir Which Digitech pedal are you using ? I find mine useful for getting a variety of sounds (albeit digital, but, eh....) on the cheap - which works for me, beings as I'm back in school (career change) and have no spare cashish for a neither a great amp nor an assortment of pedals, unfortunately. Keep it up, sounds like you're enjoying yourself
Members voneville
I used the rp250 i think. i wanted the podxt but my local doesnt carry them and i was pressed for time when i bought it. it's not a convincing as the pods, but the expression pedal is cool and its pretty user friendly. my tastes vary obviously, but it was cool to woodshed on the ship for 7 months, my playing really improved, i've gotten rusty over the years.
