Members Ed A.
From http://www.apple.com/logicstudio/ : "If you purchased Logic Pro 7 on or after August 1, 2007, you are eligible for a free upgrade to Logic Studio ($9.95 shipping & handling)." Before that, it's $199 for the upgrade. BTW, you'll still need the XSkey (dongle) from LP7 to install Logic Studio, but you don't need the XSkey to run it. Don't throw your XSkey away! The key is one of the big reasons I want to upgrade...I've been so nervous about losing that {censored}in thing:mad: Thanks for the info!
Members lowendnyc
While I'm waiting until I do do the Logic 8 upgrade along with OSX 10.5, the death of the dongle is something I'm very happy about. Used to get very worried everytime I took it out of the house.
