Members d_dave_c
Okay, so I went to a few guitar shops over lunch and all I can say is that the winner (if you can do w/o tremelo) for me was the Blues Jr. tweed NOS. It blew away the Princeton RI, and I agree with the onboard effects on the Princeton Recording. The distortion was lacking something. The compressor was pretty good, but the poor build quality and reviews is very off-putting. I thought the tweed BJ sounded the best and it was the cheapest. I didn't play though it, but they had a 5w Hohner HooDoo, a Class A harp amp. anyone ever tried a guitar through one? Sounds a lot like it would be a lot like an old Champ.
