Members D Carroll
Love mine, I am not that great of a player, but I will try to get a clip... They have a great tone to them, fantastic look and feel too... I really don't see me getting another electric anytime soon...

Members cadfael
generally they are considered great. While not super cheap, still a bargain compared to Gibsons. the SA 10000/2200 series are real nice!

Members Musicscotty
The Yamaha SA2200 is an awesome guitar and holds its own when directly compared to a Gibson 335 - in every respect.
Members streetknight
What is your budget? Depends really. Right now it's not too much. Around $500-700. But, I'm considering moving some other guitars. I have 2 strats, I could get by with one I guess.

I hear good things about the Washburn semi-acoustic (forgot the model nr.). Don't go too cheap with a semi-acoustic. The type of construction of that instrument is qute involved and can't be too cheap without becoming a "prop", that is, a guitar that has the looks and not much more than that.
