Members Crisco Posted September 1, 2008 Members Share Posted September 1, 2008 AV3 is $329 compared to a Plus top at now $649?Hell I'll take the photo top if it looks cool.The LP Custom clones were $499 and played great.They had no Torino's left in stock.A little shop in Rock Hill SC called Woody's Music.I might have to buy my next guitar there.He said he'd work the price on a GB Samick for me.My choice of Korean Built or Indonesian built.Korean it is, yah? Members seven58 Posted September 2, 2008 Members Share Posted September 2, 2008 I've got an AV3 that I put GFS Fat PAF's in. I got it after I sold my Gibson Les Paul. A friend who had a small guitar company told me about Samick and how they made guitars for almost everyone. I was missing my LP and wanted something to fill the void. Needless to say, I was impressed. The GFS Fat Paf's made it sound great. It looks good and plays great. Here is mine, I have since replaced the pickguard with a black one.
