Members StratoSlacker
I'm sure any Cheech & Chong fan worth his salt knows this tune and can't help but chuckle just thinking about it. I've been listening to it the past 2 days over and over and I'm amazed. The music in that song is amazing. Does anyone know anything about the recording of that song and the musicians who played on it? How about the arrangement? Was it C&C themselves or were there others involved? funny: better quality audio:

Members Alex_SF
From wikiCheech Marin - Tyrone Shoelaces (voice) Darlene Love - Cheerleader (voice) Michelle Phillips - Cheerleader (voice) Ronnie Spector - Cheerleader (voice) George Harrison - lead guitar Klaus Voormann - bass Jim Karsten - drums Jim Keltner - percussion Carole King - electric piano Nicky Hopkins - piano Tom Scott - saxophone Billy Preston - organ Huh. I coulda sworn I had a copy of the Los Cochinos LP, but if I do, it ain't with my other Cheech & Chong records. However, I do have an old National Lampoon October 1973 back issue, which I was coincidentally reading just last week, and which has a full-page ad for the Los Cochinos record toward the front. Sure enough, that frankly smoking lineup is credited as the personnel in the "Tyrone Shoelaces and Rap Brown Jr. H.S. Band" -- along with George Bohannon, Dick "Slide" Hyde and Paul Hubinon as "Horny Guys."

Members Tron Murphy
George Harrison played guitar on that? I guess George brought Billy Preston with him...How did they pull that off? Wow.
Members Kap'n
George Harrison played guitar on that? I guess George brought Billy Preston with him...How did they pull that off? Wow. As well as Voorman and Keltner. Both were in with the ex-Beatle crowd. John had both of them on a couple of records.
