Members mhallerbach
My daughter is profoundly deaf since birth(Cant hear below 90db) - there are different levels of deafness, and usually there are some sound fields that are still heard depending on the type of deafness Also, there are technological advancements now that allow hearing - My daughter has a cochlear implant which allows her to hear really well. She dances ballet, and I am teaching her the acoustic guitar - She can't sing very well though. other that that she lives a normal life - You'd be surpirised at the advancements that have been made in the last 15 years
Members Sleepin' Deeper
....but never be able to jam with anyone else. I beg to differ. You can easily catch the tempo from someone's tapping foot and by following the hands of guitarists / bass players, you could be able to make out the current groove. I'd say it's very possible (not at all easy, but possible) as long as you're given visual clues and maintain eye contact. Peace
Members KB Gunn
I would buy a Korg M3 and push some buttons. People would say it all sounds so cool, but I wouldn't hear them.
Members Deef
If my hearing went, like many I'd just return to visual art.If my sight then went, I'd become a gigalo.
Members RockViolin
I'd carry on...with composing anyway. And with all the voices in my head, damn, the sky is the limit. Guess I'd have to finally get me one o' them fretted violins too.
