Members Khatru
I have a parts-built Fender strat, built by a friend of mine. I think it was originally a 50s MIM model. I would like to replace bridge saddles with the newer ones. Here's one similar to mine now: I would like to install the newer ones: http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Set-of-6-American-Series-Bridge-Sections?sku=361261&CJAID=10381297&CJPID=2221397 Are these interchangeable, or do I need to replace the entire trem? Thanks!!!!!
Members Ancient Mariner
You would need to replace the entire trem - the new ones are offset. However GFS do some like that which will drop straight in cast stainless steel, but without the offset. I've got a set and they're fine.
Members solderjunkie
Those will not fit... they have offset intonation screws. You need saddles with centered intonation screws.
