Members ArKay
What are all those screws? The top and back are screwed to the body?? And what's that grill on the top? Speaker? Does it have an incorporated amp?? Most of the Lindert guitars have a railway theme, hence the name "Locomotive" and their weird looks No speaker, no amp, just decoration. Members BootRoots
You can find them for cheap with some digging. And some sellers demand insane prices, like this guy here... http://www.justguitars.com.au/vintage-guitars/vintage-guitar-detail.php?guitar=1524 He sold it for $1,350 a fool and his money....... Members roygbiv
arkay, where did you find your lindert? and what is typical used price on the locomotive?
Members ArKay
arkay, where did you find your lindert? and what is typical used price on the locomotive? eBay, had a BIN of $389. There's a US one for $1,000 currently up. The prices vary a great deal as you can see Saw another MIA one which only got a bid of $286 and the seller's reserve wasn't met. Maybe he will relist, add an eBay search. This one seems reasonable ($299 for an american one) if it's still available. http://www.musicmann.net/usedguitars.html

Members LeftyTom
I dig it. Reading the replies aswered my questions about the styling. Let me guess, your music genre uses the chugga-chugga-chugga rhythm? Oh, man, you can rip some Diddley tunes out now!

Members John Backlund
Bruce told me that the ad image I had come up with was to be in Guitar Player but I hadn't seen it yet, is the February issue already out? I looked for it in the January issue (the one with David Gilmour on the cover?) but didn't find it.
