Members Tusks
Over the last few years I've truly enjoyed this site as a source of ideas ... http://www.ted.com/ I thought I would mention it since it is essentially a bunch of creative ideas, presented with clever design. The kind of content Sound Studio and Stage people would love. Have you been watching any of this? Do you have any favorite videos? Would you consider bumping this thread with a comment if so? It would save me the embarrassing . Cheers, Jerry
Members yermej
Some amazing talks covering a huge range of topics. Brilliant resource. A few of my favorites: Michael Moschen (juggler, choreographer for Cirque, artist) Pamelia Kurstin (badass theremin player - check the walking bass line on Autumn Leaves) MIT Media Lab Hyperscore/Hyperinstruments

Members Tusks
Thanks my friend. Really enjoyed the juggler ... it's another kind of music after all. I think my favorite story teller of the bunch is Malcolm Gladwell ... http://tedblog.typepad.com/tedblog/2006/09/malcolm_gladwel.html# It's less relevant to us than many of the speeches ... but he is so entertaining. Members deanmass
Jeff Han's multi Touch unit This display unit to me was instantly a potential musical and art controller. There is another on 'what we eat'... All in all, there are more things on this site than I can catch up with, and most are amazing to watch.
