Members Coolie No.1
I have read a lot of reviews on especially the HB guitars. One common thing i have read is that quite a few people think the pickups sound dull. And some of them have solved this by removing the cap which is across I believe the jack. Never heard of a cap across the jack before, so this must be Revs own thing. So what the low down on this?
Members bloolight
I'm surprised by this because the pickups on both of my Reverends (USA models) are really punchy. Certainly not ice-picky bright or anything, but they are very responsive. Maybe the pickups on the current lineup are different...I bought in before they started putting bass-contour knobs on their guitars.
Members DRPool
My Roundhouse is anything but dull. Frankly, I've never seen anyone here make that comment. Keep looking I think you'll find that 'dull' doesn't apply to their pups. Like anything else go play one and see for yourself the Rev site has a bunch of clips that you can check out, clean and through a Crunch Box. Frets99
My Reverend pickups are clear punchy and articulate!!! And I have videos n audio clips that suggest that as well.
