So did you get a strat? More than likely. I find it is the guitar that evokes the mood in a player though. That quacky strat sound is the instigator and the amp just makes it shine. I haven't yet. I went to see the Squier VV series of Tele and Strat today but the local place I frequent was all sold out and waiting on more to come in. Hope it is soon. Members jbiggs1 Posted February 14, 2009 Members Share Posted February 14, 2009 spent about an hour with the tube versions of these today at GC....gotta admit, I was pretty impressed. sounded much better and more organic than the L6 Spider Valve, and I'm a L6 fine. But now that I've seen that pic of the one w/ out that ridiculous plastic fang thing, I can't wait to pull mine off and turn it into a "normal" looking piece. Then I'll like it even more.
