Members Michael Martin
Here's mine for the month: a true VOM1T, as in 1-Take/no overdubs. I actually had this melody and even the "lost my lady" phrase for a couple of years (one of very many half-baked musical constructions banging around in the attic) but it took actually "losing" someone (who moved very far away) before it got finished as a song. Recorded this demo back in May with my Hummingbird, in my basement. Guitar and vocal through AT2020 condenser mikes into a Fostex VF80. A little EQ and compression on the mix but otherwise au naturel.http://snd.sc/1hIUwzDSILENT SPRING

Members marcar
My first entry in many months! Glad to hear so much wonderful music on this thread. Although this was a one-take quick and dirty recording, I wrote this tune many years ago as a break song for my band and used it ever since in that capacity. This is an attempt at a solo guitar version of it with the aid of my Boss RC-3 looper.

Members Dirt Chicken
Era De Maggio--Sounds like it might be song about baseball huh? It's a love song that was written in the 1880's and the title, which is Italian, means "it was in May." The recording was done in a studio by a band I play with. The video is just footage of the band and vocalist in the studio. The song was arranged in the key of F minor--had to use a capo.https://soundcloud.com/dongiovannis/era-de-maggio-the-don

['m not exactly sure what she was singing, but I know it was mostly about her love for me and how she can't wait to hold me...............at least it felt that way.
