Members pathofspirit
Did Bartolini ever issue a humbucker size P90? I have a set of Bartolini's that I picked up used that I was told are P90s but I can't find anything on them on the web.
Members scolfax
Hard to say, the website isn't very detailed. If you know the model number it would help: http://www.bartolini.net/http://www.bartolini.net/information/guitar/guitar_pickups.htm

Unfortunately I can't find any model numbers on this set.
Members pathofspirit
By the way - what's the consensus on Bartolini pickups here? I don't see them discussed very often.
Members scolfax
I've heard of them because my first guitar teacher had them in his custom guitar, also they are made in Livermore, CA which is close to my house. I've also seen them in one other custom guitar. Never heard a bad thing about them, and would definitely consider putting them in a guitar. Generally I think they are a popular pickup for bass players. Just a guess, but I think they are pretty small, and just don't have the marketing muscle of the big boys. That's why we're all talking about DiMarzio's.
Members Rich4Once
I have a Bartolini SuperStrat in the neck position of my Peavey Nitro Custom. A guitar shop I did business with when I lived in Kansas recommended Barts pretty highly. For a long while I had a Bart LC-60 in the bridge position, too. That SuperStrat pickup is a good match for the bridge pickup currently in that guitar, which is a Bill Lawrence L-500XL.
Members Elias Graves
Their floating jazz minibucker is highly regarded. EG
