Members gmar
Hi, I would like an exercise like this: the sofware would play some random notes on an octave for the user to guess ascending and descending. If one could costumize the number of notes played would be cool as well. anyone? thanks

Members gmar
Hi, nice page but I still couldn't do what I want. For every question in an octave I would like to choose the number of random notes to be played. And I would have to answer for example "Minor second" "Tritone" "Major Seventh" (if this was the case)

Members halfwhole
got an iOS/android device? get playbyear app. it's free on ios, 99c or something for android. it does random melodies (you set the length/octaves) and scalar patterns, plus chords and reg intervals I've been using it for the past 2 weeks for an hour a day and i love it. it's the first ear training thing that isn't a chore to do. the pitch recognition has some issues iwth the guitar's lower octaves though

Members GreenAsJade
The link I posted takes you to good-ear, which pop also suggested, and I think it's what you want.
