Members Jeff Cardinal
I have a bunch of condenser mikes that I like. There are a couple of venues I work at that have older boards that don't have phantom power. I would like to use my condenser mikes at these venues. My question: does anyone make a unit that has a battery that could power these mikes? I'm thinking of a unit that would plug in in series with the XLR mike cable. Jeff. Members agedhorse
Yes there are quite a few to choose from. What mics do you have, some can use an internal bias battery.
Members wasRbts
I used to have this Samson unit - which was listed on the PHPhoto page someone linked earlier. 2 channel for $50. It worked fine. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/294032-REG/Samson_SASPHANT_S_Phantom_2_Channel_48V.html
