Members witesol
I need to run a small bass amp, like a 30watt 110, a small guitar amp like a fender blues jr and one powered wedge monitor. Cant be a generator. So, probably 6-8 amps ish. Away from a car or AC power. ideas for a battery inverter unit?
Members RoadRanger
Why can't it be a generator? Honda EU1000i is pretty darn quiet.
Members RoadRanger
This guy could power it for an hour or so: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009YR00MI Problem is a tube amp draws major watts vs a solid state amp .
Members Tomm Williams
I once used an inverter with a deep cycle marine battery in a similar fashion. My draw requirements were less than what you're looking at, but you are not asking for a lot either. Obtaining a PSW inverter is not a problem but hopefully others will chime in how you would calculate the proper battery size (or number). And RR is correct, the Honda EU's are crazy quiet. (If that is the issue) I'm certain you could rent the Honda for less than buying the inverter and batteries.
Members witesol
it might be a Honda EU. I have much experience with them and agree about it being the best solution. this particular video projects needs silence as it is shot in remote locations and I'm but only the director. I mentioned putting the Honda 50' away behind a rock or tree...thanks
