Members Tomm Williams
She was a leading force in the recognition of "country rock". Seemed to have this gift for dealing with the music industry on her own terms. I also understand she is a cousin to David Lindley and produced his solo album "El Rayo X" Even though she pretty much disappeared from the music scene years ago, her long list of hits are still getting attention. Members andertone
I live in tucson, her home town, and we are in shock. Bobby Kimmel from the original Stone Ponys still lives and plays in town. We lost Linda to San Francisco a few years back, she rightly commented that her old town was turning into an LA style strip mall, but the legacy and many friends remain. I hope she comes home from time to time to get the appreciation this town can give her
Members agedhorse
My mentor from the IA local here suffers from the disease as well, absolutely disabling. He can't play music anymore, had to retire early from the union. I first worked with him in 1978 or 79. One of the good guys.
Members monthlymixcd
Stumbled upon my Muppet Show rips while doing some digital house cleaning this weekend... and totally by coincidence opend this episode. Here's the YouTube link to the end of the same episode. Near as I can tell it's not lip-sync'd. Nice memory from my youth.
