Members Stingray5
Would there be a big difference between them? I know the 118 is 134 spl and the 15 is 131 would that be deal breaker? I'm just going to get one for small Jobs under 100 people. Thanks
Members Dookietwo
To get 3 db's louder it takes double the wattage. If you have 300 watts in the 118 and want the same volume out of the 115 you would have to put 600 watts into it. Up to you I guess. What is the rest? Size, weight, frequency response? These matter as well.

What I like to tell people is that 3db is "noticeably louder", 6db is alot louder IMO, this decision comes down to what is most important to you.
