Yes, it would save someone a lot of typing if they just listed the companies that DO allow the offer... may 3 or 4?

Probably because they don't carry new Carr amps. They have used ones, but used gear is also excluded.

Most, if not all of the names on that list are put there due to the requirements of the listed manufacturers. IOW, they don't want to be part of those kinds of sales events, and oftentimes their dealer agreements require that they be excluded.

Often GC will honor the discount for a brand that is listed as exempt at least they did several times for me. You might have to do a chat session with an Online Sales Rep and or check with an instore GC Sales Person. About 2 years ago I bought an Epiphone Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Gold Top from GC and I had a $100 off coupon and they honored it then but maybe the market has changed.
