Members ido1957
Isn't she Lovely was great - I think your voice is getting stronger every time I hear a new tune from you. Do you sing live or to an audience ? (If not you should)

Members triq
I'd say you're well on your way I agree, that you should try singing live. It can be a great way to build confidence.
Moderators davie Posted February 15, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 15, 2012 Not bad. Those songs are definitely on the tougher side. And rock songs are some of the toughest songs to sing (and sing well. lol). What kinda stuff are you doing to practice? Members reddude333
What does live mean? Also later I'll try to do the broken song again or a different rock song. Really need to work on that. Geting told i can get paid to do what I love to do makes me very excited. Even if its not the music that i want to do maybe Itll teach me things to add to my music. Members triq
What does live mean? Just means in front of people - like a karaoke night or an open mic. Something like that.

Not bad - gotta watch the pitchiness though. There is a certain amount of aggression/intensity required for rock that you will want to work on... you need to feel it before you can sing it... Members reddude333
davie, Ive been working on the broken song alot. But Its alot different then what im used to. Im also learning the guitar part. To practice I do all the basics. Lip rolls, sirens, just going through the range 3 up to down. But i havnt had much time since ive been working and i get home when every one is asleep.triq: Ill have to try that at some point once I can get a song to sound good. When i end up doing it, i want people to like it.

Both recordings sound good to me, but some parts are better in each one...like the chorus is better in the first recording.
