Ive been here for a long time, no doubt in that.

Thanks to my stay here, and thanks to you guys, I made the right choices for me, and got lots of answers for questions I asked.

You helped me choosing my Triton Le, (You might can't remember, but you did...check out on eof my early threads), which I'm extremely happy that I have, although some of you think it's not the best synth existed (I delicated your words a bit..), but I wish to make some things clear.

My triton Le, is a "Light" version of the Triton classicstudiowhatever... which are good boards. It has almost all the options they got, but it lacks of some options, that might get handy. It was a bit exaggerated to say that in comparison to the karma it suck (sorry for the word) hard.. 'cause it's not different SO MUCH. For me, anyway, it doesn't matter (The ammount of the Triton Le is enough for me, and I wouldn't use the karma arp's updates... I hardly use the arp in my triton..)/

The Triton Le is a synth for begginers. You are not begginers.

I bought it as a begginer in the world of synth. You probably didn't buy a superb synth when you started... And throughout the years, you prograssed, and got synthies with more options, and more effects, etc'. I understand that. Youre pro's.

Me? I'm no pro. My synth playing is only a hobbie... I'm gigging with my band, which will probably split after high-school, or before, and I don't wish to make a studio in my house... You guys, are older (30-40 I believe... I can't imagine one of you as a teenager, 'cause you have lots of experience, and loads of gear.... By the way, do you really use so much synthies?? I saw some of your pictures, and it's unbelieveable.), and you understand better then me. I admire my Triton Le, and I just want it to live in my house peacfully. When Ill rich the right age, I plan to let my Kids play it, and tell them about hte fun I had with it.

I hope you understand this.

Ok. that was about my gear. Next stop: Main topic.

During my stay here, I was hot tempered. No doubt.

First of all, you can't blame me... I was burn in Israel... The country where people don't say please.. (Actually, our generation, kinda changed... Israelies now concetrate on being polite, thanks to commercials, and the bad image we have in the world. Anyway, it's a rough place to live in..

Anyway, as a result of my hot tempereness, I said things I should not have said. I offended you, and I'm sorry for that.

As a result of that, unless youll not agree, I'm leaving.

If youll ask me to stay, Ill stay and only speak about technical stuff, after Ive tried to figure out after reading the manual. If youll ask me to keep acting like I acted before, sorry. Can's help you there. If youll ask me to leave, Ill take my ass, and get the {censored}(sorry for the word) out of here.

I met some really nice people here, like smart-guy packrat, good-boy MartinHines, "I'm cool" Billyway,Naive flat earth, "don't shut me up wheresgrant3, and more great people.

Now, you may call me an asshole, or use these funny nicknames you invent, but I prefer that you won't, 'cause I want this thread to be different then the rest of my threads.

If I offended you, I'm sorry.

Again, I'm not interested in a fight.

Thank you so much, for all the help.

Edit: Special thanks to awake77, which is a fine man, (not because what you said now, awake, you really helped me, I just forgot your name, so I didn't mentioned you... I recognized you by the avatar).

I don't know you. I've never corresponded with you before. But, I can say that it is very easy to offend musicians. I have already experienced that in my short stay here. There are some cruel and overly emotional parties involved; maybe yourself the primary one; I don't really know that. I do know that you can't take things so dang seriously my friend. The punch-line here is "then you die". So enjoy what time you have on this rock and if you don't agree with someone, state your case and then move on. Dwelling on the things that upset you is going to kill you early; and trying to please every one, especially musicians (who are notoriously sensitive people), and especially in an international crowd such as this one (I've experienced this one too), is going to kill you quicker. Learn to smile my friend, you have been given the brief, but intense gift of life.

And for the other replier... I'm a smiler!

My friends call me: *my private name* Optimistic *My last name*.

You haven't seen my behavior, though. I was nice, but sometimes hot tempered... (Not in a drastic way, of course... )

Ain't that the truth. Self-importance goes with the territory.

I wouldn't say that. The Triton LE is a piece of fairly professional kit, albeit however much it's scaled down from the main flaship synths.

The Jazz/fusion festival I attented a few weeks ago had some bands that used it (well, just the 88-key versions). They were professional keyboardists. Their playing abilities proved that.

The LE is a good 'all-rounder' to either:

(1) Provide a band with a good synth for a budget price, or

(2) Provide a synth beginner with some amazing sound textures and decent programming for a budget price.

I happen to own an Alesis QS8.2 which probably nobody on this board would ever recommend, but it works for me for the simple reason that I need a quick & dirty 88-key ROMpler for gigs that just need bread & butter sounds (organs, EPs, pianos, pads). And for that it does the job brilliantly. Sometimes simple is all you need.

Enjoy your LE and see what you can do with it. When you are ready to move on (interested in the sound of real analogs, VAs, etc.) then you will know you are ready to make that move.

Hi Egens -- Don't worry about it so much, it's cool, enjoy you're Triton Le, a good board, and continue to ask questions, there are some knowledgable people here -- There have always been alot of strong opinions here from the beginning, and also as pighood says, self-importance seems to come with the territory, so take it for what it's worth -- Continue on and have fun -- As for people being impolite, the world in general has become so hard -- I can't stand the "in-your-face" attitude that alot of people have adopted as a way to interact -- Somewhere along the way we've lost our patience, our compassion, our subtlety, our class -- Guess we have to just roll with it -- Peace --

Egens, you gotta stay you know. We still have to help you find your next synth!

I am glad you recognized that my way coolness is just to make fun of myself to get all these {censored}s giggling like girls once in awhile. I am the exact same person in real life as I am on line, except my voice is a little crackly when I try to sing like Mike Reno.

Do they still have that road side stop on the way from Haifa to Jerusalem with all the Elvis memorabilia? I need to find my photo of that Elvis statue!

Triton LE Rules!

Billywa, you ever been to the "church of elvis" in Portland Oregon? I got stoned and that crazy lady married me to some chick I hardly knew one night. That place isn't the same as it use to be, that whole town got pretty crowded, I had to move.

Lord have mercy, hope your alright. People have lost their freaking heads. It's every-man for himself. I have had some close calls myself. I have had a few guns stuck in my mouth. (1) I lived in a bad ghetto for a while, and (2) travelled the jungles of mexico (rebels). Never got shot tho. People are too afraid to actually pull the trigger.

Hmm... I registered in may 2006... You know, it's july now... 2 month are a long time.

Yes Billywa! This play still exists... Superb place.

Lots of old ladies come there, to remember the gold old glam days of king of Rock n' rollm, Elvis.

What did you think of Israel during your visit?

Have you been in southern Israel (Negev, Eilat?), doesn't it amazing how to view changes in every area in Israel, which is a very small country? The Negev is a huge desert, In Ramat hagolan (north), You can see lots of streams, flora...

Great country, although not like countries in Europe.. (In lots of towns in Israel, enviromen doesn't get much respect, and there are lots of building which look bad.

Damn it! I covered my secret Identity!!! Screw me!

(Yes... It's Egens..).
