Members hallgn
Hi,I'm basically a guitarist but took piano lessons (& grades) when I was younger (I'm 50 now).I play in a 60/70's covers band in the UK with a female vocalist.I'm looking to buy a fairly cheap, probably used, keyboard with a few basic, but good, sounds such as rock organ, piano, strings, horn stabs etc to use on songs like Gimmee Some Lovin, Mony Mony, River Deep Mountain High etc.The simpler the keyboard the better as I don't have the time to explore many functions. The keyboard will be amplified by a small keyboard combo (Laney) then DI into the PA.Any advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Glenn. Members Darkstorm
My fave for inexpensive when they was new, and downroght cheap used is Alesis QS6.1 61 key synth. Very good bread and butter synth with more layering and splitting ability in performance mode then most. New they sold for $600 american. Same price as the newer QS6.

Members akliner
You should look at the user review sections of HC. They've always been helpful to me. You can guage people's reactions to things like reliability and {censored} like that... Play some for yourself. Figure out what you want. These suggestions were great places to start.
